Hire Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms carefully. By paying your deposit and submitting a booking, you agree to these policies and conditions.

Booking & Payment Policy

How to confirm your booking and secure your items.

  • A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Final payment is due seven days before your event.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

What happens if you need to cancel or postpone.

  • Cancellations made more than seven days before the event: Deposit refunded minus an administration fee.

  • Cancellations within seven days of the event: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • No refunds are available for cancellations within 24–48 hours of delivery.

  • Postponements due to weather or emergencies may be rescheduled, subject to availability.

Damage, Loss & Bond Policy

Looking after hire items during your event.

  • A refundable bond/security deposit (typically $200–$500) may apply for certain bookings.

  • Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning will be deducted from the bond or invoiced separately.

  • Clients are responsible for all hired items from delivery until collection, even if items are left unattended.

Delivery, Set Up & Collection Policy

How delivery and collection works, and what to prepare for.

  • Delivery and collection are available for an additional fee, based on location.

  • Venue access must be safe, clear, and ready for delivery and setup at the agreed time.

  • Additional charges may apply for after-hours service, stairs, long carries, or waiting time.

  • Setup and pack-down times must be confirmed in advance.

  • For client pick-up, proof of identity will be required.

Hire Duration Policy

How long you can keep hire items for.

  • Standard hire duration is 24 hours (may vary depending on event type).

  • Late returns or unauthorised extensions may incur additional hire fees.

Weather & Outdoor Events Policy

Protecting items when your event is outdoors.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring suitable weather protection (e.g. marquees, covers) for hired items outdoors.

  • Hired items must not be left in rain or unsafe conditions.

  • Marquees must be installed by our team to ensure safety and wind resistance.

Client Responsibility Policy

Your responsibilities when hiring from us.

  • Items must be used only as intended and returned in good condition.

  • Items must not be altered, written on, or decorated in a way that causes damage (e.g. tape, glue, paint).

  • Clients must ensure venue access and notify us of any restrictions in advance.

Marketing & Photography Policy

How we may use photos of your event setup.

  • We may take photos of event setups for promotional purposes. No personal information will be shared.

  • Clients may opt out by notifying us in writing before the event.

Final Agreement

Confirming your acceptance of our terms.

  • Clients must sign off on a hire agreement or Terms & Conditions before the event.

  • By paying the deposit, the client accepts and agrees to all policies listed above.
